Gardevoir

I've always though gardevoir was cool when I 1st saw it, but from the original artwork I saw back from gen 3 I actually thought it looked different for a while. I could have swore the red spike coming from its chest was more like a small breastplate that laid flat, and I had no idea it had legs under its dress. To my knowledge, gardevoir is actually a very well liked pokemon over the internet, but I'm sure for very different reasons... When drawing this realistically with humanoid anatomy, I was actually trying my best to make it look not sexulized in any way. The reason gardevoir has always been a favorite of mine is because its based off of a guardian angel and a dancer. I'm not much of a dancer, but I'm a big fan of angelic lore and have even spent a good 10 years of my childhood writing a comic about angels in kind of a superhero story.

 I probably would have drawn gardevoir more alien but due it its new fairy typing added, I kept her pristine look. I was actually debating of whether to draw her in her shiny mega form because I am a fan of the black. But I think i will just stick with the basic species to represent my top 50 list. Gardevoir is my 4th favorite pokemon
